Helen

Helen has been taking with me since September '09.  Not long after,  she started half leasing Ace!  She has been working on better communication with him, as well as learning basic elements of dressage.

Christa

Christa is Helen's daughter and has been taking since August '09.  She rides western and started out learning the basics.  Now she has progressed to harder horses and is doing practice rides with her mom!

Jackie

Jackie has taken with me since September of 2008.  She rode growing up and got back into the swing of things easily.  She started out half-leasing Blue and then moved on to Possum for a bit more of a challenge!  She is currently learning how to jump as well as covering basic dressage principles. 

Melissa

Melissa started taking in February of '09.  She owned her own horse and participated in 4-H back in Omaha, NE before she moved to KC.  She has been working on dressage and rides Elsie, Blue, and Possum most frequently.  She can be seen around the barn several times a week helping with riding, longing, as well as volunteering at our yearly summer camps! 

KELLIE LYNN

Kellie Lynn is eight and has been with me since October '07.  She has a natural knack and shows a lot of promise and enthusiasm!!!  She has been working on riding new horses like Chevy, Annie, and Blue now that she has cemented her basics. 

 RYLEY

Ryley is nine and started taking in Summer '08.  She took last winter off for other activities and was back again this summer for more riding!  She has been getting back into the swing of things and is re-learning how to canter! 

 

JENNIFER

Jennifer is an adult student who started in January '08.  She took jumping lessons growing up and then switched to dressage when she was in college.  She got back into the swing of things very quickly, and we worked a lot on collection as well as reviewing basic ring figures and transitions.  She started riding Chevy over the summer and had a great time with him!  We all miss her as she went away to seminary school at Princeton! 

SYDNEY

Sydney is eight and has been taking since January of '08.  She shows a lot of energy and enthusiasm!  This summer she has been working on learning to canter and enjoys cooling Midnight out bareback whenever she gets a chance!

EMMA

Emma started taking lessons with me in September '08 when she bought her first horse, Mercii!  She started riding western style and recently started English back up again!
